Did you know that buying or selling your home is considered one of the top the stresses in your life?

Sam Stevenson

As a REALTOR® I have had the opportunity to meet many homeowners and their families. The purchase and selling process may take days, weeks or even months. During this time I have had the privilege of getting to know each of them personally. We have shared laughter and at times tears. Getting to know my clients and their getting to know me as a professional is vital but I believe it is equally important to get to know me as a person!

I have worked in the real estate industry for 6 years with the past 2.5 years in the Calgary market. I was raised in Southern Alberta and have successfully completing my M.Sc in Agricultural Biotechnology at the University of Lethbridge. My studies were concentrated in antibiotic resistance in intensive livestock production systems. Real estate may seem like an odd place to end up but I follows in the footsteps of my husband Charles who is the broker at MaxWell Canyon Creek. As a family of REALTORs® we understand what it takes to work in a challenging market and to provide competent timely service to our clients.

When I am not in the field helping families buy and sell their homes, you will usually find me in one of 3 places. My passions include fibre art, water colour painting, photography and travel.

Saturday mornings you will often find me with the "chicks" knitting at a local coffee shop or in my home surrounded by yet another project. When my husband and I travel my eyes are usually behind the lens trying to capture the "perfect shot" to grace our memory wall at home. More recently I have had the privilege to volunteer in Malawi, Africa and can only describe my experience as humbling and certainly calling me back in future years.

Grounded by my family and the families I meet I keep my days full and varied. My chosen career is rewarding and the flexibility it affords me is truly unique and greatly appreciated!
